#Sandusky :Tom Ridge May Take Over Penn State

ESPN says the board is debating if Ridge should step into replace Graham Spanier as school president. Spanier was not indicted by a grand jury in the Penn State case, but current state attorney, Linda Kelly, wouldn't rule out future charges against him.

Ridge is a former Republican Pennsylvania governor and one of the few people in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the public stature of Joe Paterno, Penn State's long-time football coach.

Paterno also has close ties to the Republican party.

Ridge also has close ties with the current Governor, Tom Corbett. It was Corbett in his previous job as state attorney general who started the investigation into Sandusky.
